Other than the news that Pierre Morel has now become the second director to jump ship on the ill-fated Paramount Dune remake, things have been kinda slow in the Dune world.

A placeholder version of the index of articles by contributor has been uploaded and will be filled in over the coming week. Also, updated information on the continuing effort to get the truth behind those Fremen lyrics of “Inama Nushif” and composer Brian Tyler’s apparent plagiarism of The Dune Encyclopedia.

A preliminary test version of the Open Dunes Concordance is now online. Some of the entries have yet to be filled in, and there are a lot more that need to be added, and the text citations for the individual entries are not linked up yet, but work continues however slow the progress may seem.
This will not end up being just another simple repetition of the Terminology of the Imperium that you can see on some other sites.
The contact page has been updated to the new layout and relinked. I’m currently working on adding some new sections to the site, as well as filling in the Synopses & Reviews sections. The fan fiction blog has also been updated to the newest WordPress release and some glitches in the CSS layout ironed out.
A new section concerned with The Dune Encyclopedia has been added. I will gradually be expanding this over the coming days. And the RSS feed for the site is now active.
